1. Local budget data (on your device)

Your budget, debts, goals, and related data are stored locally in the app (SQLite). We do not host this data on Accipe servers.

To delete it:

• Uninstall UK Budget Planner from your device, or
• Clear the app’s storage / data in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → UK Budget Planner → Storage → Clear data).

That removes local budget data and the local PIN for that install.

2. Google Drive or iCloud backups

If you enabled optional encrypted cloud backup, those files live in your Google Drive or iCloud account — not on Accipe servers. We cannot access or erase files in your cloud account.

To delete them:

• Open Google Drive or the Files / iCloud app on your device or computer.
• Find encrypted UK Budget Planner / Budget Planner backup files (typically .clbak).
• Delete those files yourself, and empty Trash / Recently deleted if needed.

3. Data Accipe may hold

Release builds may send crash and performance diagnostics to Firebase Crashlytics and Performance (for example crash logs and device/install identifiers — not your budget contents). Optional Cloud OCR may briefly process a receipt image; Accipe does not retain receipt images after processing.

To request deletion of anything we control (diagnostics identifiers, or OCR proxy logs if any were retained):

1. Email support@accipe.co.uk
2. Use the subject line: Data deletion request – UK Budget Planner
3. Include enough detail to identify your request (for example the Google account email used for Drive Sign-In if relevant, and approximate dates).

We will delete or anonymise data we control within 30 days of a valid request.
