Accipe app GP clinical reference

By downloading, accessing, or using the Accipe mobile application (“Accipe”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Accipe-specific provisions in this section.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of Accipe is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Accipe is a clinical reference and community knowledge-sharing tool designed for registered General Practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals in the United Kingdom. The App provides clinical content, medication information, and user-driven sections for local referral pathways and administrative hints.

Disclaimer: Accipe is intended for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of the healthcare professional.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

• Eligibility: You must be a qualified healthcare professional to create an account and use Accipe.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account, including your professional role. Misrepresenting your professional status is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.

4. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you contribute to Accipe, including referral hints, administrative tips, and surgery details (“User Content”).

• License to Us: By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with Accipe.
• Content Standards: You agree not to submit any User Content that is confidential (including patient-identifiable information), unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of any third party.
• Moderation: We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to moderate, review, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, particularly content that is reported as inaccurate or inappropriate.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Accipe for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international law.
• Post or transmit any material that is knowingly false, misleading, or inaccurate.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our computer systems.
• Interfere with the proper working of Accipe.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by us in Accipe, including the app’s design, text, graphics, icons, and software, is the property of GP Accipe Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• "As Is" Basis: Accipe and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information in Accipe, especially user-generated content.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, GP Accipe Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of Accipe or your reliance on any information provided.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within Accipe or on our website. Your continued use of Accipe after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

DermWizard app GP Dermatology Toolkit

This section supplements the general Terms above. By using DermWizard, you agree to the provisions in this section as well as our Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

DermWizard is a dermatology reference and decision-support tool intended for qualified healthcare professionals in clinical practice. It does not require registration with an email address or password. You must not use DermWizard if you are not a qualified healthcare professional acting in a professional capacity.

2. DermWizard Pro (one-time in-app purchase)

DermWizard offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (DermWizard Pro) via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Pro is a non-consumable product — it is not a subscription.

What Pro unlocks: removal of advertisements, a higher daily allowance for AI image analysis, multi-angle photo upload, and clinical notes in image analysis mode.

What Pro does not change: Pro does not alter how clinical content is processed, does not unlock different clinical content, and does not turn DermWizard into a diagnostic or regulated medical device. All clinical judgment remains your responsibility.

3. Purchases & refunds

• Payment processing: Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
• Entitlement verification: RevenueCat verifies whether your install has an active Pro entitlement. See the Privacy Policy for details.
• Refunds: Handled by Apple or Google according to their respective store policies.
• Restore purchases: Available in DermWizard → Settings. Uses your App Store or Google Play account.

4. Medical disclaimer

DermWizard is an educational reference tool only. It does not provide definitive diagnoses and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. All clinical content is derived from publicly available dermatology references (including the Primary Care Dermatology Society). You retain full responsibility for all clinical decisions. 5. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using DermWizard, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DermWizard.

6. Governing law

These Terms for DermWizard shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, consistent with the Accipe app Terms above (section 8).
